Interarts 14+
The Interarts 14+ sessions are an opportunity for young people with and without learning disabilities to extend their creativity and interests beyond the limits of a typical Interarts session, by offering them the chance to create a show over a number of sessions that utilizes the stage and technical aspects of theatre.
We hope that through this process we will be able to combine the groups talents, interests and imagination to present a 40 to 45 minute ticketed performance for family and friends. We will support the group through a development process to reach this goal, in which they will be in complete control of the story, set construction and other necessary elements.
This will be an exciting opportunity for the young people involved and will be a great way to experience something new as well as learn new skills.
It will be necessary for those participating to attend a reasonable percentage of the sessions as the work done in each session will be an important part of the whole performance.

Dates
The sessions are on Thursday nights once a month from 18:00 til 19:30. Toward the end of the project there will be a block of sessions close together in order to bring the show together for performance.
